I have been wanting to go from analog to ip for awhile only reason I hadn't was the price, since ip was twice or more compared to analog. I had found this form when looking and comparing ip cameras and low light technologies. I had seen a lot on HK and Dahua but was still out of my price range at least retail sells. I'm pretty technical as I'm in IT and do hardware repair and re-imaging I wasn't worried about tech support.

So I found Cantonk :puke: and though it was a good deal that I would soon regret it was ok at first and they tried to help at first then didn't care. I had gotten a 12mp IMX226 verifocal turret and was great for around two days.
Then it would randomly stop working and turned out to be a port issue it didn't like 8082 for whatever reason. Then it started rebooting and finally got to where it wouldn't come on at all. So they were supposed to send a new main Hisilicon board for the memory/rebooting issues. Waited over a week then called it a loss and lesson learned. Then though this form I found Empire Tech (@EMPIRETECANDY) and the good prices was iffy at first but after all the reviews I decided to give it a try and glad I did. The difference was huge more than I figured it would be. As I had 5MP TVI Starlights and wanted something similar I was going to get 2MP turret Stralights but then saw the 8MP with similar results (IPC-HFW1831E) so I got that instead. Also like the 8MP as it a large area to cover and I really need two or three cameras. I have one good light but not alot of ambient light but its great still trying to learn shutter/gain to get the best night picture.

I don't mind the noise if not to much as I would rather have some noise and less blur then the opposite.
Here as a few pics not sure it the 5MP TVI has color issues or if its the cheap RG6 I used and that they are behind a patio door though the glass as I'm in an apartment.

Welcome @Wolf4Ever

Good to have you join us. Feel free to share how you manage to reduce the glare from the window as your camera is mounted behind the window. This should be useful information for others living in apartments.

Thanks @mat200

On the glare normally I get a razor blade to scrape off what I can from the glass before cleaning it helps. Also I have used a piece of anti-glare or reflective film on the glass wherever the camera is. This time since the bullet though mini is a bit bigger then the turrets I was able to get it almost to the glass maybe a mm or two from it and the sun shade touches the glass.
When I get a chance I want to get some foam or a thick o-ring and see if put between the lens and glass if I could use IR without washing out the image if needed. Will post if I get around to it.
