So first of all I love the camera so far.

Second of all, I understand the limitations of APTZ, so if your only answer is put in 10,000 more manual cameras skip to a new thread please.

The PTZ works fine for manual / web controls. I am now trying my first experiments to enable it to try and do some simple tracking. I am able to use another camera to trigger the camera to go to a preset.

I have read that others are using I believe IVS to trigger Auto tracing. Any links to threads that tell how ? Everything I have found I can't do. Another problem is that the web plugin does not work. It works for all other cameras, but not this one, I have pale moon 32 bit. It tells me to download a new plugin, the new one I download won't run. All the other menus work.

Any jumping off points would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

1. The SD49225T-HN has no Auto Tracking funktion.
2. With a/the new firmware (2.623.0000000.7.R.R4.2510.9A.NR, Build Date: 2018-11-24 for example) the Dahua WebGUI use Flash (Head up on Dahua's newest firmwares), so "the old way" Pale Moon 32bit does not work anymore. You can start the Dahua WebGUI but there is no Live View.
Now you can use Chrome with NACL Web Plug-in, but then some functions can not be configured - IVS for example. :banghead:

The only way I know (from Dahua) for Windows is Dahua SmartPSS. For Linux there is no solution from Dahua. :(

Hello,

Pale Moon (ver. 24.8) works fine for me. Also with firmware 2.623.0000000.7.R.R4.2510.9A.NR, Build Date: 2018-11-24. I mainly use Pale Moon and have no restrictions. The SD4925T-HN and the SD6CE245U-HNI work. ( BS. Win 10 64 pro)

greetings

Hi Fred2000,

hm ... that is very interesting. I've just done a few more tests.

Dahua Firmware 2.623.0000000.7.R.R4.2510.9A.NR, Build Date: 2018-11-24
Dahua Web Plug-in 3.0.0.3 (Pale Moon --> Extra --> Add-ons --> Plugins --> Plugin MMX 3.0.0.3)

1. Windows 10 Pro (64bit) + Pale Moon 28.4.0 (32bit)
Result = Dahua WebGUI is there, you can make changes but there is no Live View.

2. Windows 10 Pro (64bit) in a Virtual Maschine + Pale Moon 28.4.0 (32bit)
Result = Dahua WebGUI is there, you can make changes but there is no Live View.

3. Windows 7 Pro (32bit) + Pale Moon 28.4.0 (32bit)
My very old PC who has always worked with this constellation, but now:
Result = Dahua WebGUI is there, you can make changes but there is no Live View.

Everything I've changed lately is just the Dahua firmware. Nothing else. Before that, there were no problems.

And you can see the firmware differences with other browser - IE or Chrome for example. Until the firmware update there was an error message that the browser need the Dahua Plugin. Now the error message is that the browser need Flash Player (Plugin).

What version of Dahua Web Plug-in do you use? I have no other idea. :idk:

Hello, Jim,
I haven't tried any other browsers yet. Under Pale Moon I just saw that the plugin is listed more often. My system corresponds to your one under point 1. The firmware is also identical to yours.

Hi Fred2000,

Thank you for your answer. That's really strange.
