Expert settings made in camera not applied in NVR

I have a HIKvision DS-2DE3304W-DE camera connected to a Hikvision DS-7616NI-K2/16 NVR.
When I make "expert" motion detection settings directly in the camera's gui the NVR ignore them. The NVR doesn't have expert settings in it's gui and that's probably why it can't apply them. But some kind of "pass-throught" from the camera would be nice... Anyway I can make this work?

But I don't fully understand the solution and I can't make it work.
