My Hikvision DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS work well, but I can't get the Intrusion Detection to work on objects (persons) 70-80 meters away. This astonish me as the advertising videos seems to do that.

I use 100% sensitivity and 3 % percentage not detect on a square for about 4 m2.

But, if I use the ordinary Event, basic event Motion, It work but when using the ordinary Motion detection I get more trouble (should be well known) like to many warnings from light change etc. so I can't use that one.

Is there a table where I can find max distance for type of camera?

Nobody knew?
no one can help you..there is no such thing as a max distance. it all depends on the scene and the pixel size of the object. I double the hikvision video showed people 80m away. Regardless, never trust manufactures claims, ever.

https://www.avertx.com/how-far-can-i-see-with-my-cameras/show something, but not exact what I am looking for.

Here is the spesification of my camera and my camera has the 8 mm to 32 mm lens.

A difference in good or poor light conditions can do much, but even in good daylight the camera don't detect anything over 50-60 meters away. The camera has an option one can use to test-show objects spotted and with this I can se motion (green rectangle) of object more than 100 meters away. Strange!

Using http://ipvm.com/calcaculator, with the lens of your camera zoomed to 32mm, a person standing 152ft (50M) away would have 20.4 PPF. That's pretty minimal. The link you posted above suggests 20-40 PPF for detection, so this camera would be right at the very bottom end of that range.

Thanks, it is about what I have reached. If the table mentioned is correct and so easy to use, I have got answer to my question.
