I've read through similar threads and cannot figure out why my live video is so slow, 1 frame every 4 to 6 seconds.
Things I've tried and system specs below-
Turned off "Limit live preview"
If I log into cameras through a browser the video is fine
Re-watchings recorded video is fine
FPS in BI is set higher than the cameras are outputing

I have 5 cameras all Hikvision. All are direct to disk, the 4mp are newer and have H264+
4MP 10FPS 252 kB/s
2MP 15FPS 500kB/s
4MP 15FPS 350kB/s
2MP 15FPS 500kB/s
3MP 20FPS 50kB/s (this camera points towards blank wall but captures motion, so higher FPS but not much data)

Computer hardware
i7 3770 which runs around 10% usage
16GB DDR3

It is currently on remote desktop, its inside the same building. I was having the same issue when viewing on that computer directly also. When I am remoted in, the live view through a browser and playback of recorded clips plays just fine.

Turning off the H264+ did not seem to change anything.

when using rdp you must set BI to unrestricted mode in blue iris options>cameras>remote desktop
