So I found it hard to source CMR and outdoor rated, but came across this [marked as General Cable]. The vendor says "it's pure copper"

There's nothing in here that looks like it's CCA right?

Nothing above suggests that it is cooper clad alu, if it’s external rated then I do t think I’ve ever seen a CCA cable rated as external, only ever solid copper.

Thanks @KT88s and @IAmATeaf

I think it should be solid copper too, but you're right, no harm in a FINAL check since it's so important.

Cheers for the support

I am going through this with a neighbor who is ordering CAT6 cable for his house. You have to be very careful with the wording. As Fenderman said there is lots of CCA out there. Buyer beware.

I use a lot of General Cable materials at work, always has been really good quality. I have only seen solid copper from them, not any CCA. Have even mounted it with a staple gun in sub-zero temps over this last winter without shattering its jacket.

I just pulled up their catalog. As I thought, all of their Cat 5e and Cat 6 are solid bare annealed copper, they don't make it in CCA.

Datacom Cable

At this point I would have to guess that I have installed hundreds of thousands of feet of their products without any issue. (been in communications over 25 years)

That is a huge relief! Thanks
