try find inspect or a different hik dropdown option. If that doesnt work email support, you will need to provide access to the camera.
Tried all the Hik options, some made it worse.

Emailed support a couple days ago and haven't heard anything back.

Something else I have tried is getting a ONVIF Manager and ensuring it's turned on with the camera. After I did that I ran find/inspect and BI found it easily without sending queries of different cameras looking for a match. It evidently however, turned on hardware acceleration and the line appeared again. I turned it off and we're back to intermittent freezing.

If you have basic support it can take a week. Make sure to use the email support option in the about tab.

Old topic but an update of sorts.
I had to send the unit back to Hikvision a couple times for repairs. After the second time they sent me a whole new unit. I thought maybe the first unit had a bug that made it incompatible with BI so I tried it again with the replacement. Unfortuantely I get the same problems. For some reason BI just doesn't like this multi-cam unit.

I had these same issues with the Hikvision Panovu 4 lens camera. I don't remember the model but I think it was the DS-2CD6D54FWD-Z. BI Support never got back with me and I could never find a good solution. BI just never got the stream right. Clarity would go in and out, colors would shift, pixelated bands would show up. Only in BI. Never in a media player or in the web interface of the camera.

Same unit. I went back to IVMS-4200 and don't have any issues. I wish it did work with BI as it was much simpler to use and you don't need an NVR.
