My setup is:
DHI-NVR4104HS-P-4KS2 NVR
Some IPC-HDBW2431R-ZS cameras attached to the NVR.

I am using the Chrome app, as this is the only plugin which provides me with actual images.

First, I tried to setup IVS rules using the NVR web GUI, which seemed to work OK but the rules tend to disappear (because they are not correctly written to the cameras?).

Next, I triedt to setup IVS rules using the camera's web GUI, but then I end up with an empty page which looks like:

upload_2019-5-3_23-26-2.png

I have searched through the forum and verified that "Smart codec" has been turned off.

Anyone any idea?

Thanks for your help!

@usaf_pride yes, I have - see my initial post.

@Cameraguy with some hassle I managed to use IE with the plugin and this got me into the IVS settings of the cameras. There I was able to configure the IVS rules.

Next challenge: I have configured the IVS rules on the cameras. The areas I have drawn are also visible on the views (e.g. "Preview") of the NVR, which looks promising. However, the rules are not visible in the NVR rules (Setup > Event > IVS). I would like to push the events to the API ("Alarm upload"), but now I can't configure that.

The plug in on some browsers is need to see the video or pictures. Do to security issues with plugins some web browsers are preventing plugin usage (chrome) . Try the pale moon 32 browser.
