Despite her injured leg, this doe is very protective of her young fawn. After the first chase, you can see where the fawn sleeps on the hillside in the middle of the screen. In the second chase the coyote runs off the screen to the left but then doubles back by running against the fence in the distance. The doe follows and at the end of the video you can see the doe holding her injured rear leg up in the air.

Wow, never thought a doe would be that aggressive against a coyote. She gave the wiley coyote a run for his money. Glad to see the fawn well protected. Great video!

Good to see she can still get around pretty darn well. Maybe that leg is healing up a bit?

It is hard to tell if her leg is getting better. She still holds it up frequently. I've seen her even chase cats away from her fawn. She moves pretty fast when she thinks her fawn is at risk. The coyote showed up a day after the doe and fawn first appeared. It's been hanging around ever since.

Get a Gamo .22 Pellet Rifle, and one shot to the coyotes head and hes done for, I say game because they have a good one for only 119.00 on Amazon.
and their not as loud as a real .22
Their are actually places that buy yotes hides also.
