I followed @cosmo's instructions here, but I'm still having an issue getting it to work with gmail. I have access to less secure apps turned on and do not have two-step authentication turned on. Here are my settings, did I miss something?

Do you really want to wait 120 seconds?

What happens when you hit the "Email Test" button?

An update. A few days ago, my camera stopped emailing photographs of movement detected. All I had to do was change from SSL on port 465 to TLS on 587. I seem to be up and running again.

Did this stop on May 1st? I had the same thing happen to me. Switched to TLS on 587 and back up and running.

This happened on May 2nd. After switching to TLS and getting things running again, I also updated my firmware. Hope it keeps going!

Oh no! It happened again on June 6th. I tried to switch back to SSL on 465 and then back to TLS on 587, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Did you have a lot of notifications that day? It's possible Google blacklisted your IP. They do this to weed out spammers sending emails in mass. I had to switch to my yahoo account to get my notifications to come through.

FWIW I have 4 Dahua NVR/DVR's and they are all still sending emails fine. Now I have my own email server...
