intel and vpp. i followed a post here about reducing cpu. should i try and disable that?
Disable vpp... select Intel only

Please let us know how this turns out. If VPP turns out to be the culprit, I will happily update some parts of the wiki to help spread the word.

ok that looks like its fixed. Not had the issue since. I also noticed that my cheap wifi cameras that never had the issue had it disabled already. So the only cameras seeing the odd delay were the only ones with VPP enabled.
Shame about the CPU load but at least it all works.

What is VPP video Post processing ? I am having difficulty finding the information in the help file and wiki. What does it do and how does it effect performance.

It is explained in the release notes, pushing too much data through it causes bottleneck issues as explained in the notes.
