I did a quick search and I couldn't find any information in regards to running Armcrest IP POE cameras with a Dahua NVR.

Will they work with all the internal settings that come with the Armcrest cameras ?

I"m trying to put together a system for a business and trying to save them some money as they want 12+ cameras and some of them would be Dahua and other would be Armcrest for externals.

The below Armcrest exterior camera is what I was looking at to save them some money.

I would stick with Andy and order some Dahua cameras from Empire but I don't think the business wants to wait that long to get them shipped, received and installed.

Thoughts ?

Thanks for any help.

Should be OK, especially if the NVR is ONVIF-compliant and is fairly new; besides, if they won't work and if you're "nice" to the cams, packing, boxes, etc. amazon should let you return them within 30 days, IIRC.

I'm curious...what sort of delivery time did you expect or receive from Andy?

I think the delivery time from Andy is 20-30+ days last time I looked. I believe they wanted to get started sooner than later. I would wait but they are antsy to get going.

In there words " they where ready yesterday".

Hi @Olie

They should work. ( as they are Dahua OEM cameras )

Note those Amcrest 8MP bullet cameras have a very wide FOV and iirc reports of a little distortion on the edges.

iirc we had a few members share their experiences with those cameras here.

As fenderman mentions - DHL is very quick, and if Andy has the products in stock you can expect a quick shipment.

I think one of the issues I was having was with Aliexpress is it defaults to free shipping which shows 20-30 days. I've never noticed the drop down to DHL to add on the expense of quicker shipping. I'm I seeing this correct ? Currently if you check it for this single item it jumps up +15$, I'm assuming if you pick up a whole order of stuff it will even out some.

Hi @Olie

Lorex btw has a memorial sale with 25% and that also includes the junction boxes they carry iirc
They have a 2 basic "squarish" junction boxes in 3 different colors, with the discount code the price is reasonable imho
