well I own them and they are currently running in TVI, the have 2 dip switches which gives 4 modes depending on there position.

When they came out they website just HD and CVBS switchable, didn't actually say just cvi so I downloaded to check which HD modes and the manual stated tvi and ahd as well but made no mention of the 5mp limit in tvi so I ordered them wasn't to happy when I set them up in tvi to find that 5mp was the max.

There is very little difference between 5mp and 8mp.

I know it was just one of those things where I paid extra for a nice 4k and then can't use it. Had I known ahead of time I would have gone for the
HAC-HFW2402T-Z-A 4mp starlight plus which should be more sensitive.
