Many Chinese workers each day earn 15-20USD per day and work everyday at factory, their main work is assembling, some industries if leave China, go to Vietnam or Malaysia their salary will be much cheaper than China. So that is why the trade make US people lost their job.

As i know Many Chinese companies go to Vietnam to set up factories and export from there to the worldwide , hope US and CHINA will have a good deal soon. US companies also earn lots of money from China too, we have 1.3 billons people and a very huge domestic market.

The Chinese market in fact does not make it easy to buy hikvision and dahua do not want to sell to people like you. That is why you purchase via Gray market or rebranded. these companies don't want to sell to end users like you because you're a pain in the ass and don't know what you're doing which cost more in the long term.
That's exactly why they allow grey market sales! They are not trying to block such sales, they encourage them. They make cameras without branding etc. It's still profitable for them - no support. I hope you are aware that major western food companies have being doing similar things for years. When you buy generic no name or store brand sour cream, for example, it is likely made by a big name manufacturer. They don't want to lose market to small generic manufacturers, they rather compete in that market of generic items. It's still profitable for them.

Snowden was a simple traitor.
That is technically correct but I mentioned him in a response to reminder about purposely left backdoors in Chinese cameras. Snowden showed that not only Chinese companies do this.
Im still trying to find the part in the Constitution that says I have a "Right" to buy a Chinese camera and that by not allowing such it somehow infringes on my "freedoms"...?

There's a metric shit-ton of things made outside of the US that you can't buy here or in Canada, or many other countries for that matter. Take vehicles that dont pass California's fantasy land emission standards.
You are allowed to do anything that's not prohibited and can buy anything that's not regulated or controlled. Things are regulated or controlled when they may harm others like in your example produce emissions. I don't see how security cameras can harm society.

They do not allow gray market sales and have done everything in their power to block it on ali. Note the shortage of hik cameras. The unbranded cameras are for third party rebranders. Its like you dont know anything about this space its scary.

I was talking about Dahua. I never cared about Hikvision and don't know much about it. I could easily buy an unbranded or rebranded Dahua camera a few month ago when I looked. If they wanted to stop this they could do much better. There were sooo many sources. I say only what I know.

Dahua does the same. They are just less successful at it. Hik has more power as they are wholly owned by the PRC.

fenderman, don't you think it is hypocritical of you to denounce one report as being bought and paid for propaganda, but you have no qualms about claiming the 'Chinese government steals US Intellectual property?' How is the proof of the latter any more trustworthy than the former?

The article was not a report....the website publishes this kind of BS regularly. They are not a news source. Did you bother to read it. Its gibberish about the surveillance market.
1 in 5 corporations say China has stolen their IP within the last year: CNBC CFO survey
Do you think china is not stealing our ip and screwing us on trade? Stick your head in the sand if you want to. Thankfully we have someone in office who has the balls to deal with them.
