It is funny.
This morning I loaded the PAL firmware that the cameras came with on one of my cameras at home. And now everything works like expected with exactly the same setup!!!!
Is it possible it was the NTSC firmware? I did reset to default after the ntsc flash.
Will find out soon.

My camera are on NTSC firmware

So anybody know any solutions to skipping frames during IVS events.
I read a lot on the forum about that problem when using NVR and it was the main reason I went with cameras only.
I had no idea the issue exist when recording directly to the camera internal microSD.

Also I wonder why there is 6 seconds delay. I would like to have the recording and pictures start exactly at the trigger. Non of the snapshots show any action

The camera does record IVS to local SD card on mine.

What version firmware and if you recently upgraded it, did you restore it back to default?

Is IVS selected and saved under Events -> Smart Plan?
Hi Bill,

May i know if you test this on your cam? Seems the IVS recording have some bugs, i reported to dahua, but still no news.

One thing I noticed on cam is IVS is marked with yellow flags in record timeline.

Should IVS be marked with orange flags in record timeline like shown in SmatPSS

Is this a bug?

Hi All,

Just wanted to mention I have the same issue (missing IVS in schedule tab of storage)

It is because i'm using OS X with Safari. If I boot a windows machine and use IE then the IVS is appearing in the schedule overview.

Took me few hours to figure this out.... pain in the ass.

I experience the same problem. I setup IVS and IVS works. I see that IVS is triggered, but it does not show up on the playback line. I only see the green (continuous recording) line and no orange recording line. Did you find a solution for this issue yet? I have a Dahua cam and Dahua NVR.

I’m using this camera: IPC-HDBW4431F-AS with FW 2.622.0000000.18.R, Build Date: 2017-11-10
Had problems with IVS. Could setup everything, and was working OK till I rebooted the camera. IVS was disabled after reboot, and video detection enabled again, and smart plan IVR disabled too.
Did a Default reset, tried again, still same problem. After that I did a Fatory Default reset, IP settings stay the same, tried again, and now settings are kept and working.
Only shame is that IVR does not seem to trigger an event, so iDMSS Plus does not popup any longer when some action is pickup up by the camera.

Anytime changes is made to the IVS settings, you would need to turn off alarm then enable it again and go added the IVS back into it and save on DMSS
