I've got 2 Dahua SD59430u-hni running in Blue Iris. Everything works great for a couple hours and then I randomly lose ptz control on both cameras. They still pick up motion and record I just can't move them. If I unplug them from the poe+ switch and plug them back in it goes back to normal. If I'm away though I obviously can't do that. Anything I should be looking for?

Are you able to control via browser?

They're on a TPE-TG80g switch
How long is the run? Are you using quality solid copper cable? Did you crimp the ends with the 568B standard? How many other devices are being powered by the switch?

They ran Cat6 cable. Not sure about the ends as I didn't do the installation. I'd say the longest one is 150ft max. The other is maybe 50 ft. I've only got those 2 cameras on it.

Generally, ptz issues signify a power problem. Does this happen at both night and day?

Yes it is both. I also noticed, If they are working properly I can go into my phone app and reboot the device and it reboots the cameras like it should. However, if they are not working it doesn't respond at all.

I would try another poe source. If it keeps happening, take the camera down and test with a short premade cable.

Did you manage to resolve this? I have one of these cameras and while I can get the PTZ to work in a browser, I can't get it to work in Blue Iris at all (the video stream is fine but I don't have any PTZ control). Thank you
