Nice, Tony. I stayed away from the nest. The nest is in the tree "touching" the left camera. The eagles were away went I flew.

Adding a jpeg. Video in last entry doesn’t play. Did I do something wrong? Just uploaded a video from iPad.
It played for me; downloaded then opened it in Win media Player. Great job, BTW....and thanks for the pix.

As you might gather from my avatar, I was a traffic signal tech before I retired. In my 31 years I was aloft hundred of times, usually about 35 feet for the signals and street lights. For 12 of those years I worked at a county and we had 2 airports with beacons and those shaky, flimsy towers were right at 75 feet and we climbed them manually, up a ladder with a track in the middle of it where you clamped a safety harness' hook to a ratcheting, sliding anchor. I was NOT a big fan of that but got used to it. The part I NEVER got used to was opening a hatch in the bottom of the platform where the beacon and 4 red telltale lights were, unhooking that safety harness then climbing through that door and crouching on that platform to change the 1,000 watt lamp in that rotating airport beacon. I definitely insured I didn't have to pee BEFORE doing that.

It wouldn't play on an Ipad but did on my computer. thanks.
Tony, I think the smooth ride up and down and the relative giant platform reassured me. One last task, getting the guy wire thru the trees(pines) in the left of the above picture. I tried with a crossbow at the top and the arrow didn't make it and then my line got totally tangled. So I came down. I tried from the ground and my arrow is stuck at about 50 ft in the trees. I'm working on a method, may involve branch trimming.
Recent good pic of the male, I thinkNorth Hik 4K PTZ 2019-6-19 05.46.08.789 PM.jpg .
