Anyone know if the later model cameras, specifically the IPC-HDW5231R-ZE, can use the 256GB cards? I'd ask @EMPIRETECANDY directly, but figured it would be better here for others to know.

The answer according to the spec page is: "Micro SD card memory, IP67, PoE". In the details of the PDF it says: "Mirco SD card 128G", no mention if this is a maximum, or the card included in the camera. Even if they intend it to be read as 'maximum', in my experience many companies do not update their documentation frequently, and at the time of publication 128GB might have been the biggest card available.
So, all-in-all, I'd like to have a word from the vendor or a user to know if 256GB will work before plonking down the money for a card I might not be able to use.

They don't include a card in the camera. I would "assume" then as written it means max. The cards are cheap enough to where you can buy one and test it. If it doesn't work, send it back. I'd go with the 128GB card since the specs have it written there. I have seen some of the newer cams list 256GB in the spec. You can hold a bunch of video on a 128GB SD card.
