Just a couple days ago my Dahua DH-SD6ALA230FN-HNI started flashing with purple horizontal bars and crappy image. I rebooted it and it got better but not perfect. Now they are back in full force. Is there anything I can do to try to fix this or is it toast?

Turned off WDR and it seems better... what would have caused WDR to fail?

Nevermind, it’s back again :(
Did a factory reset and still the same. The only other thing I can think of is to reflash the firmware. I've never done that on a Dahua because I've never been sure which files to use. Anyone think it would be worth a shot and want to point me to the correct files?

What is the camera's built in firmware date? I check if have any newer FW for your updating.

It was 2015 or 2016 roughly. I unplugged the camera as to not cause further damage. Ill plug it back in and get the exact date. Could a bad power supply cause this behavior? I don't have another to test but I might buy a POE injector if I can find one capable of this power (38w). Any recommendations for an inexpensive injector for that kind of power?

The camera has problem for its board as i checked with dahua guy. Have to ship back the whole part back to us, the warranty is 2 years, not sure if they still have part to fix them.

Shipping will be very expensive because this camera is very heavy. Is there any guarantee that they will be able to repair it and any idea of cost?

I have to check with dahua warranty center, if they can fix up, can take the housing off and ship the core part back
