Hah! I had checked and rechecked and re-rechecked. When I posted 3 hours ago, it was just giving me a still pic. I just came in and there's animation on that there screen... :p

I've seen enough of WU the last couple of years to completely understand something working, then not working, then working again... ;)

Thanks for taking a look. You never know.

BTW, I've changed mine quite some time ago on Image #2 to refresh every 2 minutes, not every 2 seconds...WU might not like being hammered 30 times a minute for refreshing. Besides, this will save you some mobile data (if that's the case) and WU only updates every 10-15 minutes so it's actually pointless to refresh more often.

The quickest a radar image will ever update is during severe weather, when NOAA has the radar set to Sails mode. That would be 3 minute updates.
In general clear weather, updates are 7-10 minutes from NOAA depending on the mode the radar is set to.

Yep, not sure why I said 1 minute; mine's at 2 minutes (will edit #43).

Is anyone able to use radblast.wunderground.com at a resolution other than it's true 640x480 image format and still have the gif animated. It's been working perfectly at 640x480, but I'd like to run it at 960x480. The problem is that when it gets stretched, the gif is no longer animated. If you'd been able to do it, could you please share your trick to do so? I'd like to run it at 960x480 (I don't care that it's stretched (I know what lower Michigan looks like), I'd just sort of like to fill the screen on my tablet.

Is Wunderground still working within the parameters outlined in Tony's post #8? Mine had been working, but now for the past week I get "403 forbidden" in the BI status window, cameras tab.

Yes, paging Tony :D
I wonder if a different doppler hosting site with a bit more fidelity might be an option.

I just checked mine and it's still working fine. I set it up using TonyR's guide back when he first posted it here.

Pardon me while I pull the foot out of my mouth. Checking the date on that JPG, which was just downloaded in BI, it show 05-05-21.... two and a half weeks ago. Looks like Radblast is having it's problems, too, along with WU.
