hello everyone :) am pretty sure am in the correct place in the internet to get an answer (hopefully)

am looking for a CCTV to be installed in a car , that starts recording when the car is started , records for 1+ terabytes in size and when the storage is full it record on oldest videos , the cameras must be VERY tiny like a size of a thump more or less and easily hidden.

there is no need for sound in the video .

need 3-4 cameras in each car .



the interested party wants to experiment in one car and if successful they will apply it to the whole fleet.

where can i find this ?

does it even exist ?




i admit i lack the basic knowledge of CCTV and surveillance , but i searched the web for hours with no avail.

Just get 3 or 4 dashcams and a feck off large battery, then upgrade the electrics in the car so that the alternator can control the charge of the standard battery and now also you new cam battery. Job done.

The way the OP wrote the message, it left me wondering whether the use case here is the typical dashcam/backup cam external surveillance, or are they trying to record events inside the car?

@toxinliquid , can you clarify what you wish to record, so that we can best advise?

hi franke , yes we would like to record the events happen inside the car without any of the passengers or the driver noticing

Check your local laws as this would be illegal in many countries. I see you show Oman as your home country.

If you care to be more open about it, there are dashcams made for taxis that have 2 cameras, one facing forwards and one facing rear wards that records in the interior. Sometimes having a camera in view can prevent trouble. It can also still catch eg. a cheating driver as their only option would be turn off the dashcam or get out of the vehicle to carry out transactions, both of which be recorded.

thank you so much for trying to help me , this is for an authorized party , i will check those cameras u spoke about in mean while let me link something that am looking for something like to it



this camera is fit , however its very cheap , costs around 20$ , i want something that can live and not die of heat , yesterday it was 59 degree in Nizwa :c

This is very low resolution garbage. Perhaps it will give you images that would be helpful due to proximity of the subjects, but what you showed is essentially an analog camera. Here we focus on digital systems that give much better images, but mostly this forum focuses on home protection and larger cameras. I will follow this thread with interest but I have no experience with covert hidden surveillance.

I could be wrong but I've had a nasty feeling for some while over the direction in this thread ....
