Can I pay you to select my cameras and design my system?

I’m currently building a new home and making about 3 bazillion decisions. LOL. I’m hoping I can find someone here who knows what they’re doing, and I can pay them to look at site plan and tell me if they’d add/remove any cameras and then (most importantly) tell me what cameras to buy. I’m pre-wiring at the end of this week, so I need to get it figured out ASAP and have super limited bandwidth.

Since this is new construction, future proof and make your data runs now. CAT6 is cheap (i'd personally go with CAT7), wiring your whole house (even spots where you may never use it) is worth the investment. I'd run a wire in each corner of the house, any doorways, and probably the center part of the house too (this is just for cameras and should be run so it's accessible from the outside of the house).. A lot of people I know run Ethernet to any outdoor electrical gang boxes. I'd also run to anywhere you're planning on putting an AP (ceilings obviously) and a run to each bedroom + living room. I promise you, I've done enough residential work for individuals that decided they had enough wiring.. Only to go back and pull additional wires because they cheaped out on an extra $500 worth of wire.. You'll save yourself a huge headache in the long run + remodeling costs in 3 years.

@IMASAUCE - thank you for the response. I have over 5,000 feet of wire between CAT6E, 16/2 and 16/4, 14/2 and 14/4 and RG6. I’ve got wire everywhere - I’m more worried about hardware choices.

I personally recommend Dahua turrets all around. Two different decisions to be made:
1) fixed-focus or variable-focus
2) need MIC/sound?

Higher resolution Dahua Starlights have been out for a little while now, but the tried and true 4231 fixed focus and 5231 varifocal w/MIC or 2231 varifocal without MIC are your best choices. @EMPIRETECANDY will give you a good price and guaranteed delivery within five days of payment. First quality Dahua products, and SUPERIOR customer service after the sale.

Sounds like you already have a couple great responses from these two. No reason to rush the camera selection at this point, you've already got the wiring in place and did it correctly! Take a your time and read now.
