Hello All,

I recently purchased a HDW5231R-ZE from Andy @ empiretech and was hoping you guys could give me some tips for settings. I noticed that when there is motion (Day or Night) like a person running or a car moving that there is a blurry halo around the object. I heard that it is mainly due to either 3DNR (so I set to 10) and also exposure (specifically shutter rate). I tried to manually adjust the shutter but it seems to make the entire image a bit blurry and I couldn't get a setting that looked as crisp as auto. Turning down the 3DNR seemed to make it a bit better but I was hoping you guys can look at my settings and let me know if something seems off. My camera is situated on my porch facing the street. I have good white 5000k lighting in the front as well as LED street lighting so I enabled forced color and disabled IR and it seems to look better than B&W with IR. Here are my current settings:

H.265
1080P
15FPS
VBR
6(Best)
8192 Bit Rate
I Frame 15

Profile = Full Time (DAY)

3DNR - ON
Grade - 10

Backlight = OFF

What is the actual exposure setting? Try 1/60 for starts

You may simply not have enough light

Post a full res image or better, videlo clip
