Hi guys,

my old cronker of an anologue DVR which has 4 1080p cameras has died - I bought a new one but the for the life of me I cant get the streams into Blue Iris. I can view streams on my web browser but none of the standard type URLs work.

This is the NVR - https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07NWCZJQC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It seems to be a generic Chinese one that uses this software - http://camera.wyslink.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/P6SPro-Operation-Quick-Manual-V101.pdf

and this is the manual but no help really.

Really grateful if anyone has any ideas?

In BI, add camera, enter the IP address, the user name and password you have setup in the camera.
Now press find/inspect. BI will find the camera and setup correctly for it.
If the camera works in a browser, it will work in BI. Not sure why you need the NVR since you have BI.

Unfortunately it does not find it automatically - on my old NVR it didnt either but I could just put in the IP and use this for the path - /user=admin&password=&channel=3&stream=0.sdp

When trying to do something like this, you are best off buying a known brand like hikvision/dahua or look through the BI dropdown list for other supported xvr's. Otherwise you will have to scour the internet for the correct path.
Also try this How to add camera to BI that is not in the drop down list although that is for cams, the same applies to xvr/nvr/dvr/

Is why I went with recommended cams, hardware, software from this site. Proven to all be compatible and workings (Mostly!)
