Friend up mine picked up a NSC-2X4G-BT IP Camera from Nelly's Security. He and I both have NVR's from Empiretech (andy) The camera IR ports turn red - but the NVR will not discover it.

Any ideas? I just assumed it was a rebranded dahua. I looked at my router logs and I dont even see a DHCP lease for it. I tried two different NVR's and two different POE switches.

Any troubleshooting tips?

They're likely re-branded Hikvision if from Nelly's. I'd go to Nelly's support, download and install the SADP Tool. Hook up a cam to the switch, reset it and run SADP, set in static IP that is outside of your router's DHCP pool. Do 1 cam at a time.

You won't see a lease if the cam already had a static IP assigned, especia
