Hello.
Anyone using Smart PSS know what the various symbols on a channel display mean or know where I can find the documentation that includes these items? I'm uploading a screen shot showing a symbol at the bottom middle that looks like an exploded battery. I did not find any such symbol explained in the documentation I got with the system. The camera does not have a battery. The system is only a couple of months old. Thanks for any help. -cScreen Shot 2019-09-05 at 1.47.45 PM.png

Have you checked the camera logs via the Web interface for any exceptions?

No. I don't even see how to do that. I'm able to log on via a web browser but don't see anything referring to a log.

Found the log but no information that seem to relate to the symbol. Only HDD - change disk message and "Time Sync" messages

Is the image even on the camera live feed on the Web interface or is it only on PSS? VMS software usually has it's own section for checking alarms, though I don't use PSS personally as I'm a linux man so I'm not sure where you'd find it.

Interesting icon. Could this be a "broken battery" icon? There are some notions of "low power" when having (high power) IR on, but footage above doesn't look like it needed IR.

As mentionned above: camera brand and type would help :)

Depending how he is powering the camera, it could be low POE or Wall wart power but SmartPSS only works with Dahua Cams and NVR's and DVR's unless you are using off brand cams with the NVR. That said, Smart PSS aint gunna be sensing the cameras or NVR's battery power.
