Q2: as long as you "like" the P2P way (your choice, I would opt for VPN): you can "click" on your stream until you see a 2-option widged (one with a "sliced" mountain, one with an "unsliced" mountain). I'm betting you are on the sliced (substream - low quality) stream.

But watch out, bandwidth is flying out the window in HD stream
