Hi All,

I've just purchased an SD Card (32gb) for one of my IP cams (HDW5231R-ZE). It's showing successfully through the cams web interface and I've enabled ANR on the NVR (XVR7416) interface for that cameras with a record time set at 3600secs. I had the NVR shutdown for around 20mins today and noticed that the NVR hasn't downloaded the missing footage yet. Looking at the web interface for the cam the SD Card is showing as having used around 240mb.

Can anyone advise why the footage which should have been recorded onto the SD Card during the NVRs shutdown period isn't showing as available on the NVR? Is there a setting I'm missing?

Has nobody any ideas why the NVR isn't downloading the recordings from the camera? I've checked all the settings I can but still no footage being retrieved from the SD Card by the NVR.

OK quick update in case anyone else struggles with this. Guidance for these settings is never great so hopefully this info will help in future.
The camera was set to record motion and alarm but not continuously. I thought the setting of the ANR time on the NVR would have ensured that the camera recorded that amount but having now thought through the setup this is obviously incorrect. The setting in the NVR is just the time the NVR will download from the camera after the NVR comes back on the network. If you want missing recording and not just motion and alarm events downloaded, you must set the camera internal recording to continuous. Probably obvious to most but took me a while to figure out what was happening.

Anyway hope the above helps someone else.
