Hello everybody
I have a problem with two of my 8 Hikvision cameras i have around the house.
I just upgraded the somewhat newer ones: one DS-2CD2185FWD-IS and the other a DS-2CD2125FWD-I to firmware V5.6.3 build 190923.
I was very happy to be able to reach them on the chrome browser!

But i have a NVR system on a NAS. A Readynas and the Readynas surveillance app. I have 12 licenses for the software.
It has been working beautiful several years. But now i cant get it to live view these two cameras in the remote live viewer and therefor the motion recording is also not working.
I think i have tried everything but i cant get it to work. So here i am.
I know the software is old and maybe it has vulnerability. But i rely like it.
Anyone has an idea?
Best regards
Karl

I don't know anything about that product.

But just to check you've enable ONVIF and Hikvision-CGI on the camera?

Check the camera logs to see if there's anything relevant?

I had a similar issue when adding some new Hikvision cameras to an older HikVision NVR. I found it was caused by the default authentication method that is set on the new cameras not being compatible with the older NVR. Login to the camera and go to System > Security > Authentication. You'll find it set to Digest - try it on Basic/Digest. Worth a try.Screenshot 2020-02-25 at 15.17.16.png

Since i am not sure what CGI and RTSP stand for i changed all the above in the two replys and:
Problem solved!:)
The picture is back in the NVR and the motion detection is working!
Thank you very much!
