Hi Everyone.
Im getting the above message with one of my 3 cams (IPC-HDW5231R-Z ). At night the camera's IR is working so there is a connection and being powered. I've checked the switch by alternating the connections of my other cams, ie plugging in a working cam into the socket where the problem cam normally resides and also plugging the cam with no signal into a socket which is receiving a signal from a working cam so I guess its not the switch. Where the problem cam is plugged in I'm getting a steady light on left hand side of socket but not the flickering on the right hand side that other working cams are plugged. What this leads me to is the cable which runs from the cam to the switch which is about 30m ( about 100ft) On inspection the cable appears intact ( power is going through) but I guess there could be an internal break.
Is there anything else I can check before replacing the cable ( not easy unfortunately)

Thanks for any replys

Just to add I have been inside blue iris and tried to find the cam by find/inspect, no luck. Also it doesnt show on my router ( as you'd guess)

has this camera ever worked before? if not, your router is likely not on the same subnet as the default ip of the camera. What is the ip address of your router?

Yes this camera has been good for 3 years along with the other two I have. Couple of days ago the signal went early in the morning according to the log. It was round about the time there was a W10 update but I dont think thats significant cos the other teo are working fine

Have you tried using the dahua config tool to see if it sees the camera?
If the camera is not showing up on your router and you cannot access the web interface via the PC it’s got nothing to do with Blue Iris. You can try pinging the camera and see if you get a response. If not I would suggest taking the camera down and testing with a short premade store-bought cable. If the camera still does not work open it up and do a hard reset.

Yes, just tried the config tool, it sees the other two cams but not the one in question. Nothing from pinging, will try the latter, thanks.
