Civic 17, what brand connectors solved your problem? I have been using the Platinum EZ 6 connectors without issue.
I'm still using the connectors that came with my crimper by Platinum Tools brand since it had a pack of 25 included. I just bend the lock tab back up now to get it to work. I don't think Platinum Tools and Platinum Connector is the same brand. Which one you have?

End of first Video shows the rj45 plug clippy thing going inside the relief boot, which im sure that's what it was designed for, but I always have issues of the rj45's not clipping into port proper this way. Have had service calls and that's all the issue was. Only Because Someone moved the cables or nvr/switch a little.

I can't stand those boots, I cut them off usually. How often do you find yourself unplugging Ethernet cables and then pulling them through other stuff where you need the boot? Everyday? Every week? I'm sure some do and like them and it's their choice...but for me, they're gone as soon as I can put my sharp knife under the clip and over the clip hood closest to the RJ-45 then zing! No more fussing when I can't press them enough to get the clip to disengage.
