@sdkid as mentioned can be mounted either way and adjusted accordingly.

With regards to your scenario of human vs car, if you have both selected for filtering then the car would be detected first and PTZ would track that as most prominent. Depending on your track time and other settings, period of time occupant is in the car etc then the PTZ may return to preset in that time and track the human as well. As mentioned all comes down to your needs, FOV, targets and ultimately config. Replying to you in DM as well

Question--- the menu system has "human" and "automobile" detection and tracking. If a car pulls in the driveway and parks, will the camera detect and switch target / tracking to the human getting out of the car instead of the motionless car?

@Wildcat_1 -- your pic shows your mount combo on the exterior siding.

It looks like it is flush mounted-- should it technically be "shimmed" to be plumbed true vertically? Does it matter?

I am wondering about using something like this or a home-made variation to counter the angle of the siding...

Having some issues here too, Supplier states they would NOT be able to supply the firmware for auto-tracking and I have already ordered :/ Just wondering if you know of any solutions?

Thanks.

I hope you didn't pay more than £295 delivered with Import Duties & Tax as this is what I could have got it for you Inc Del and a 3 year UK warranty.
Sure I can help you out with the firmware once you receive the camera send me a PM and I will help you out.

Just a friendly reminder that if you change your password for Blue Iris to access the camera, you also need to change the ONVIF password on the camera. I still had video but was not getting the IVS triggers in BI. Updated that password and it works again.

ljw2k are you a uk based dealer? If so might be interested if you have a price list or something?

Hey, I will just try and battle with getting the cancellation processed, The seller lied and claimed that it was auto-tracking and yet they send me a PM stating that it doesn't and they wouldn't be able to give me the firmware which is just ridiculous, I can't seem to PM you as it says that I can't view your "full profile" but I would be interested in purchasing from you another one for £295 as based in the UK, So not sure how to exactly send you a PM when I can't view your profile haha.

Thanks.

Absolutely, and I appreciate that, but I found a seller that claimed it came with auto-tracking and yet they send a PM stating that it didn't after ordering which is just incorrect advertising!

Hopefully you can get it cancelled. From what I have seen, unless someone has an old original one still sitting in a warehouse, @EMPIRETECANDY is the only place you can get one with it on it. Or you take a chance on another vendor and hope that if someone sends you FW with autotrack that it doesn't brick the camera...

Yeah, I don't really want to be bricking the camera as it's going to be going up decently high on the house and out of the way of regular reach haha I have sent Andy a message & ljw2k and I will see what will come out of it. Going to the right vendors seems like the best avenue haha!.

Hi and I am NOT a seller here on the forum or anywhere else. I have a few trade accounts here in the UK and just like to help forum members where I can as I know when I first started buying cameras from China I realised it was not only a pain in the ass if anything went wrong but they also worked out more expensive with the Customs & Excise Duties.

I will reply to your pm now.

LJW2K is a totally genuine forum member who gets some harsh critics sometimes for his honesty and advising other European members that the China supply chain is not always good value in the UK as the same items can be purchased through legitimate channels for roughley the same cost and sometimes cheaper but you are then protected by European purchasing laws and 3 yrs warranty.

Difference is resolution.

I know Canada prices are different, but +-$400 US dollars - little less for the 2MP and little more for 4MP. They are a great value for PTZ with autotrack.

Comes with wall mount.

My NVR stopped working recently and auto tracking of my SD49225XA-HNR also stops. I am not sure if they are related. In post #17, Wildcat_1 mentioned "it can track targets triggered using Deep IVS rules and SMD in cam". However, the IVS option is completely gone from my SD49225XA-HNR when I log in to camera. Can someone confirm if I need to get an NVR to keep auto tracking working?
