Hi I am noticing no signal number are really high for two cameras and they are my LPR under BI.. Now I am thinking this is being caused by since I am also using OPENALPR to tag plates.. And since both are using the stream could be the reason..

How ever whats funny is even though BI says no signal for some thousands of times the video is fine all the way thru no issue with the video recording of BI or not that I see anything wrong with it apart from that BI number... even live view is just fine.

That is why never have bothered about it but again thought might as well check with you guys.. and see what you think it could be..

Both camera are the IPC-HFW5231E-Z12

My LPRs did that to, especially at night. I think the black image is mistaken by BI as a lost signal. Like you, I can watch live and playback when it shows signal was lost and it is all present.

Make sure under watchdog that the "interpret monocrome as loss of signal" is unchecked - that just about eliminated mine showing loss of signal.

You can turn watchdog off and that will eliminate it showing those errors if you get annoyed seeing those large numbers.
