Long time BI user and I recently setup a new install in my office. It was working fine for a few weeks, but recently it won't allow access to UI3 from within the office LAN except for the desktop that BI is running on. I've exhausted my diagnostic options and cannot track it down. I can ping the BI desktop without issue. But when I attempt to hit UI3 from a browser on another computer it does not respond. I've compared my setting to what works from home and don't see my mistake. I'm running the current stable release 5.3.2.11 x64, and the license is current and valid. Here's my settings, anyone see anything I'm missing or have a suggestion?

Lets start slow.

1)what is the local URL you are trying to access UI3 from. It should be 192.168.1.223:8888
2)Are you getting the login screen ?
3)What local device are you trying to use? PC,Phone, tablet
4)Is the BI computer connected directly to the router ?
5)is the local device you are using , does the traffic pass through the router on the way to the BI PC ?
6) Make model of router

If possible a screen shot of the failure

Yes, I am using the correct local URL. I do not get the login screen, it just doesn't respond. I have tried from a few Windows desktops and my phone. I am thinking its a network issue, but can't figure out where else to look. The URL works fine from the BI desktop.

Everything is on the same LAN, and I verified IP addresses and subnets...

Never mind, I meant to say I thought Windows Defender was off. Its shows as off in taskbar warning, but when I dug into settings it was turned on for inside my private domain. Thanks to everyone for the help, Stupid me, stupid me, stupid me...

for a quick test try a different port like 8081....

If the traffic pass thru the router, do you have the router firewall enabled.

I just had the same problem, and it seems like, when I went into the Remote access Wizard and clicked on the Create/update rule, it fixed this issue.
