Static image will look decent on most cams with such exposure. Interesting would be to see motion

Thanks for sharing! Beautiful sharp and bright image. Can even read license plate across the street but motion is an issue even without running. Hopefully this can be tweaked with some settings a bit.

Also worth noting that UK distributor claimed there is a FW update coming that will enable deterrent function (will turn on LEDS on event)

the only way I know of is lower the exposure time, which can be probably set to 1/60

At trade price these go for £140.40 including VAT and I expect a delivery charge to me of around £10.00 in the UK if that gives anyone any guidance. If possible, Please can you do motion at 1/60 and 1/120. I have my Lorex at 1/120 at night to get good clear walking images but clearly that makes it turn to black and white. Basically the test is, can you get cars and walking people without motion blur at night in colour :). I cannot with a 4k Lorex, just a pixelated mess.

Checked out this cam at my neighbor's and compared to my G2 non ColorVu Acusense. Certainly pretty good night vision if you have some light, probably best spot is at the front of the house. Could even set 1/120 exposure and have decent picture and motion. Doesn't work in compelete darkness all that well as expected where G2 IR cam shines for half the price. My first experience with ColorVu and I would definitely get one but not going to replace all my IR G2s as I initially considered

Hello, I have a bit of light outside I e porch light etc but my Lorex at 1/60 or above goes into black and white, at what setting do these give up and go into black and white please ?. would consider getting s 4mm version as soon as available if can do 1/60 or 1/120 in colour without s pixelated mess :)

This will always stay in color mode there is no B&W. This really depends for your situation but you would need a good amount of outside light to do 1/120 or use built-in light for up close coverage. In my testing I found results pretty good with a single street light and side garage lights. Actually for my particular scenario I was quite impressed with it because it certainly outperforms my new Hikvision non ColorVu G2s.
