I have two Dahua IPC-HDW5231R-Z cams and a Loryta IPC-T3241T-ZAS cam these pretty much cover the outside of my house except for one area. If I wanted to add another cam is there something a little better than what I'm using without spending a lot more money?

I have a few IP5M-T1179EW, which are about $50. The Loryta version of the same costs about $80, but enables all the IVS features.

But hard to say if that fits your need. What’s important is knowing the distance from the camera you are interested in. The 2.8mm lenses are fine for up to 20’ or so.

Thanks Andy a little surprised a two year old camera like the IPC-T5442TM-AS is better than the newer Loryta IPC-T3241T-ZAS.

I've never had any cams that weren't Vari-Focal... but on the other hand I rarely use that function so willing to try something new and maybe even the 3.6MM option.

IPC-T5442TM-AS we make it working great just months ago after we solve the smart IR issues.
IPC-T5442TM-AS use 1/1.8CMOS,
IPC-T3241T-ZAS use 1/2.8” 2Megapixel progressive CMOS

You will see the difference on pics.

Thanks I don't really understand all the specs but you're saying the IPC-T5442TM-AS is still better than the cams I have and you can see the difference on pics. Am I understanding you correctly?

4mp has better nightvision than the 2mp ones. Right now this 5442 is the best cam we have now for fixed lens camera.

Hikvision ColorVu + 4K (DS-2CD2087G2-L) which is much better than the Dahua 5442 Day & Night also more detail as 8mp with a 1/1.2" sensor and F1:0 lens.
( EDIT ) I forgot to mention CHEAPER also :)
