is for a year hard for you?
Covid has been going on for longer than a year. Is MATH hard for you. Also note that I didnt factor in the better therapeutics which are reducing the deaths due to covid. I literally showed you that mathematically you are at a much greater risk of dying in a car accident than covid if you are under 50.

Look Sparky, if you’d like to catch up start here on this 450 page thread. Most of the arguments you feebly try to make have been discussed ad nauseam.

I don’t have the time or inclination to argue with someone so apparently unhinged as yourself. I don’t care what you think. So go get your 4th or 5th clot jab if you wish, nobody here is stopping you.

do car accidents magically go up for over a year and have preventable measures that are already law?

double standards and logic fallacy here we go again

argue floridas death toll

I mean you make poor arguments then none of you can defend them when even remotely challenged....
What? My point is cars are more dangerous. Thanks for conceding that. Now stop driving. That will cut your risk.
Florida has one of the lowest death tolls when age is factored in. Counter that? You statements are void of any logic and it appears you never graduated high school.

Just to stay on topic as it relates to getting an exemption due to X vs Y. The world has always made exceptions for something whether that’s fair and right who can say. All I can say is by default you’ve now created a two tier class of people of have vs have not.

Whether you classify them with whatever label doesn’t matter people are being treated differently. As I noted early on my views on this whole COVID-19 falls between the facts, science, and real world experiences seen at home.

Seeing good hard working people lose their jobs that span every sector. This is made even worse when you see thousands of health care providers either leaving or terminated.

The hospitals are at capacity depending upon where you reside in the world. Does it make any sense to let go such an important human resource?? Yet people who fall into X category are given a pass???

If you’re going to do something everyone must comply and encompasses everyone! We don’t do that because we all know say a little infant may very well react poorly to something not well tested or known!

Where I live unions are also given a pass to being vaccinated?!? Again, this is why the whole vax vs unvaccinated is a hot button!

People often cite different sectors of professions where by default your employment is contingent upon receiving X shots etc.

Think medical, military, fire, EMS.

In those cases it’s very hard for those individuals to counter the COVID-19 vaccine is different than getting any of the dozens of bull shit cocktails they’ve taken before. One only needs to Google what happened to American, China, Russian soldiers that were given mixed cocktails to protect them against biological nerve agents.

As it relates to the general public that red line of asking for health data has been crossed. The latest rage around the globe are people using the Jewish yellow star to denounce what’s happening.

I can’t say using the yellow star is reasonable comparing to almost 5-6 million Jews getting killed by the Nazi’s. But can understand how people feel about being told they can’t go to X, participate in Y, to being asked private and confidential health details.

People also make the claim I have nothing to hide and so forth. People (The government) can monitor me all day long because I don’t care?!?

Really??

Let me come into your home anytime day or night. Let me stand over your bed while you and your children sleep or jerking off. I’ll just read all of your mail, email, and listen to your phone calls, SMS, etc.

We don’t do that in NA because our society and laws place limits on what government can do! Since 9-11 anything that has to do with freedom of movement has been impacted.

Was this not the very same for COVID-19???

Yes . . .

Literally businesses were shut down, borders were closed globally. Planes grounded around the world. Now some have opened up yet everyone has to submit 1-4 pieces of information about your current health and everything in between just so a person can lay on the freaking beach??

Jesus . . .

People will need to decide for themselves if getting the vaccine makes sense. How that translates to freedom of movement and your own privacy that box has been clearly broken opened!

Freedoms.. I don't think you know what freedoms are...

Promote the general Welfare Is paragraph one of the us constitution...
I’m pretty sure you didn’t read my remarks as to what I’m asking while also providing relevant examples to illustrate my points. I’m sure there’s a clear answer English is not your first language and thus your replies make no sense to me.

I’ll give you the opportunity to explain to me how you know Freedom isn’t something I don’t understand or have championed for.

It’s also clear you didn’t bother to look I also reside in Canada. As such the Constitution which you site doesn’t relate to me even though our Charter of Rights are similar in a general sense to the American ones.

If you lack comprehension as to the current ask - please do inquire with someone who has a strong command of the English language! As any form of communications on this forum is in English.

If your Google translator is broken - step back, take a deep breath. Come back with maybe a five year old to help you understand what I’ve taken great pains to share and explain.

I am not here to change hearts & minds and rarely if ever talk about politics / religion in technical forums. As that is not my purpose for being here is given there are millions of sites to do the same.

I took the time to pose some questions in this specific thread as I found some of the replies from members I feel are very smart and reasonable people offered information I had not seen or considered. Any reasonable person should be able to take information, facts, and personal experience to help guide their next steps as it relates to the topic at hand.

I can agree to disagree with many here because these are personal views they hold that have zero impact to me or those I know.

Having said that, having civil discourse is key if people are to be understood.

This thread as devolved into a total train wreck. I shouldn't post again, but I have a personal story I want to share.

Since this thread was started, two unrelated, middle age friends of mine have caught COVID. Neither was vaccinated and neither had any unlying medical conditions - they were perfectly health, normal people in their late 40s. They both where hospitalized for over a week each and both were touch and go as to whether or not they would have to go on a ventilator. Basically anytime they moved (just changing positions in bed) their oxygen levels would plummet and they would struggle to breath even with supplemental oxygen.

In the end, neither died and both will make a full recovery. They will be part of the 99.5% that "survived" COVID (a statistic that I constantly seen referred to by people that don't believe in the vaccine), but their time in the hospital was hell for them and their families. Both have stated that they regret NOT getting the vaccine because the odds are that neither one of them would have been hospitalized had they been fully vaccinated prior to getting infected.

If you don't want to get the vaccine because you are confident that you will be part of the 99.5% that "survives" COVID, just remember that "surviving" doesn't mean that you won't potentially have a long hospital stay and/or other complications. The data shows that the vaccine is very effective at reducing the severity COVID should you become infected. Again, the choice is ultimately yours to make. But for me, taking 20 minutes of time and having 8 hours of very mild flu like symptoms after my second vaccine shot, was well worth it to build my immunity up to a place where if/when I am infected with COVID, my bodies response will be much less severe than if I didn't have the vaccine.

Agree as I have all along. If you decide to get the vax, more power too you. I’m not advocating anyone to get or not get it.

The “train wreck” was due to an obvious deranged person popping into a camera forum specifically to condemn and belittle members with no factual argument, he came to pick a fight.

I think the problem is that it’s become obvious we’re not being told the entire truth, and that the vax’ed are indeed getting sick, going to hospitals, having strokes and other bad outcomes from the jab at a rate far surpassing historical vaccines, and even dying. There is no dispute about that fact, and I too have personal experience (3x and counting) with it.
So some of us are hesitant.

Strokes can/have been occurring as a result of the vaccine. However the chances of having a stroke due to COVID is much higher than the risk from the vaccine. Again, the vaccine is not a "prevent all" barrier, but it does lower the symptoms and risks people face should they get COVID after getting vaccinated.

The British Medical Journal just finished a study looking into this very thing. They had a sample of 10 million people with the Astrazeneca vaccine, 10 million with the Pfizer vaccine, and 10 million unvaccinated people. They found that with the vaccine people got a stroke/bloodclots about .0014% of the time. Without the vaccine, .016% of people with COVID had a stroke (10 times greater risk) and 1.26% chance of having blood clots (nearly 100 times greater risk).

So again, the risk from the vaccine is FAR lower than the risk from getting COVID without the vaccine.

I believe what’s important is everyone try to get as much facts that come via trusted sources. Whether it be their MD, walk in, Hospital, etc. As I stated early on there has never been an event which impacted every nation and their people such as this.

Countries didn’t shut down borders and commerce because it was fun or played along just to be cool.

This virus has changed from a pandemic to epidemic where all of us will need to accept its part of our lives.

While agree with some of the sentiments about the virus whether good or bad. What should not change is to keep a open mind, keep learning, keep asking questions as to how best to protect everyone you love.

What shouldn’t change is leading by example and supporting those who need it.

Nobody is better, stronger, safer than everyone pooled together as a collective to insure we come through this healthy as a nation and a single people of the Earth.

Lastly, as expressed up above I appreciate the webmasters in allowing everyone to speak their peace on both opposing views. People shouldn’t walk into a forum / thread hoping to change hearts & minds.

But should expect the facts to be discussed and challenged if required because that’s how we all learn so we don’t repeat the same terrible mistakes across the globe!

Everyone stay safe & help those who can’t help themselves.

Did that study cite a time cutoff from date of vax? I ask because I’ve seen studies that assume any adverse “event” (there are far more than just strokes) beyond anywhere from 14-28 days post jab aren’t counted as related to the jab, and others that suggest said adverse events can occur much further out.

Just saying that this us one of those possibly overlooked stats , timeframes vs jab and death “due” to covid, that seem to be inconsistent
