Hi,

I’m installing BI on an existing setup with 37 cameras. Half the cameras are Uniview, and all all dropping frames - I’ve set them to 12FPS but only getting 0.5FPS out of all of them. All the non Uniview cameras are working perfectly (Dahua, Dlink and Generic).

I’ve tried changing frame rates up and down, with matching frames to no avail. Pulling out my hairs now, please help!

I’ve also tried using generic and Uniview cam profiles. This happens on both the main stream and sub stream.

I’m also getting an exclamation mark on all the Uniview cams - does this mean there’s som sort of connectivity issue? I still get an image, it’s just slow.

I'm having some weird issues with newer UNV cameras and Milestone. I haven't had time to resolve them yet.

Try turning on 'SVC' (Scalable Video coding) on the cameras under setup>video and audio> video and see if that helps.

Has SVC been removed from BI5? I cant seem to find this option in the settings or the manual.

Post the video settings from the cameras own web interface.

Settings on camera - please let me know if there are any important ones I've missed+:

Settings in BI5:
It autodetects as a generic camera, I've tried both default generic profile as well as Uniview profile. Same issue with both configs below.

Settings look good. Have you tested a uniview cam with a short store bought cable?

This is not a BI setting, its a camera setting. Also, he is using the camera with Milestone, not blue iris - hes just saying it may help with BI as well. Cant hurt to try togging it in the camera settings.

I specifically mentioned it was within the camera settings. My model is different to yours.

Check that you have the latest firmware also.

No I havent, however they're all working well the the Uniview NVR, so it's definitely a BI related issue. There's about 15 cameras, all exhibiting the same dropped frames only in BI. I'll continue messing with the settings to see if I can resolve the small number of dropped frames, but for now I'm pretty happy with the result. Thanks for the help fellas!

Just a suggestion.
If problem is only in view, then:
If using RDP on a win machine, go check your config to see you get all frame. Main setup->Camera->Video During RDP...
