FInally decided to replace a troublesome Dericam PTZ outdoor dome camera.
I have an ethernet cable and 120v outlet at this location. Do not want poe and do not need wifi. We love all 3 features: pan, tilt, zoom. We hate the dome, due to the IR reflecting from inside the dome, as well as having to take the dome down 2x a year to clean the inside.
I have had good luck with my other Amcrest cameras, so would prefer to stay with that brand, but would consider others. Bullet cams...we would really miss the pan and tilt.
What do you recommend? This will run on Blue Iris 4.
Edit: Is this the best place to post this question?
Edit2: After reading a few comments, I would also consider a poe camera.

Hi @TahoeJeff

1) I have an ethernet cable and 120v outlet at this location.
2) Do not want poe and do not need wifi.

Considering that you have Ethernet out to that location, I would highly reconsider PoE. It will be cleaner on the outside if you go that route.

PoE you can easily find a nice small PoE switch or even just PoE AC/DC wall wart or similar

Thank you Mat200. I guess I would also consider a poe camera. Would have to figure out how much added cost there would be for poe equipment, since I have never dabbled with it.

Here's an Amcrest camera that should meet all your stated requirements. It's likely a big step up from what you use today.

Thank you everyone for your help!
I ended up ordering this camera:
I ordered this poe injector, but am thinking I may have picked the wrong one. This sentence in the manual concerns me: For other Reolink PoE cameras, please make sure that the PoE injector/switch is 802.3af compliant (48V) and supports active mode.

That one is too small, the specs for the cam say "802.3at" which is 30 watt, such as this ==>> TP-LINK TL-PoE160S | 802.3at/af Gigabit PoE Injector | Supplies PoE (15.4W) or PoE+ (30W)

Best of luck with that Reolink cam.....

Wow so you went from wanting something under $100 to a $250 Reolink...

Yeah goodluck with Reolink and Blue Irs. They are known to not work well together..

Good thing Amazon has free returns...

And besides that, video quality at night is not good, so you will get lots of video suitable for ghost hunters LOL.

What Reolink makes up in for static image quality (and the static image is what almost every NOOB gets fascinated with), they lack when it comes to motion at night...

What you mean a missing hand isn't normal LOL :lmao:

How about missing everything but the head and upper torso :lmao:

The invisible man, where can he be. Thank goodness he is carrying around a reflective plate to see where he is LOL (hint - the person is literally in the middle of the image at the end of the fence)

I've seen better images on an episode of ghost hunters :lmao:

And of course, this is an example from Reolink's marketing videos - do you see a person in this picture...yes, there is a person in this picture.... Could this provide anything useful for the police other than the date and time something happened? Would this protect your home? The still picture looks great though except for the person and the blur of the vehicle... Will give you a hint - the person is in between the two columns:

FYI -

In general most members have have issues with Reolink, if you can afford better I would highly recommend it ...

Note:
Image Sensor
1/2.8" CMOS sensor

Video Resolution
Default: 3840X2160 (8.0 Megapixels) at 25 frames/sec

Thus I do not expect good low light performance as this is a Reolink and 1/2.8" sensors for a 8MP resolution camera ..
