I buyed last year DH-IPC-HFW4305D-0800B and I successfully upgrade to english version with:
General_IPC-HX5(4)XXX_Eng_P_Stream3_V2.420.0000.0.R.20140419.bin

this new model is different in the code on with -V2- , after transfered the file it gives error.

Any suggestions ?

That's not just you so! Basically answers ranging DAHUA be only in and for granted Long-established user ... :( (apparently)
I had also asked 1 week ago, until today no answer, and there nor ever shall be.

Greetings from Germany, and all a Merry Christmas

No one is obligated to help you. Understand that in your other post, you asked a very specific question WITHOUT even providing a model number of the camera.

Before I purchase a camera from a vender, I inquire if the firmware is in English, and I make sure that they have a good return policy. I have not found a need to upgrade the firmware on any of my cameras once they are up and running. But, in my case, I exclusively use Blue Iris for events and remote viewing. This software is always being upgraded and having new features added. I find it better than what the camera has to offer and I don't have to be concerned with firmware upgrades.

Dear Dahua's Sirs,
I buyed the same model sure to be upgraded in English version, nobody is happy of your aftermarket, and also your internet site,
don't help to solve the issue.
I suggest your sales manager have to think about it.
Good Christmas

It's not Dahua's problem that you buy a camera meant for Chinese market. There's a reason why those cameras are cheap compare to other models, because they are made cheaply only for a specific market. And now you guys complain why you cannot update the fW!

i dont know any Chinese, i'm just saying don't try to flash the international firmware on a camera running a locked Chinese-market firmware.

This restriction can be valid 10 years ago, if it's the true that the canera is running locked Chinese-market firmware, I will take back to the seller shop to replace with another brand that allow me to setup the camera in easy way, I have regular 收据.
