    BI Not Recording (on motion)

wow, nothing is working! Not sure what to do at this point. Maybe uninstall BI and start from scratch? I have used BI for many years and never had such a major issue.

    BI Not Recording (on motion)

I have been using BI4 with no issues until recently I noticed it was no longer recording clips. I have 12 cameras (different brands). I went in BI and checked everything and it seems like my setting have not changed. I "tweaked" the settings (lowered res on several cameras) and upgraded to BI5...

    Comparable Camera to the IPCT-HDW5231RE-I

I bought the IPCT-HDW5231RE-I camera last year and really like the quality wide picture it gives. It has a nice wide view and does great in low light. Now it isn't available. What would be comparable to this camera?

How Does Remote Viewing Work With Dlink?

I used LogMeIn. I wasn't happy because my wife was the main person that needed to view the cameras live ( farm animals) and she needed something simple like the BlueIris App. Also, when I would log in and exit it would not allow me to log in again until I restarted the computer. Never figured...

How Does Remote Viewing Work With Dlink?

I have 5 Dahua cameras and 1 Ipcamtalk camera on my BlueIris software. Unfortunately I have satellite internet and cannot easily remotely view my cameras. Long story short, A friend suggested I try a Dlink camera. It was extremely easy to setup with the wps button and I can view it remotely. I...

    Network from Barn to House

I have multiple cameras in my barn that are connected to a BI computer. We lived in the barn loft while building our house, so everything is setup and working fine in the barn. I wanted to send that LAN over to the house so I bought 2 Ubiquiti M2 and a Ubiquiti AP. The first M2 is setup on the...

Mike & EMPIRETECANDY, When I got home yesterday evening I saw the camera's image looked great at night again, but when I got up today I saw it was back to green. IPCT 2 MP Starlight IR Fixed Turret Network Camera, 2.8mm, Powered by Night Eye

I got mine in and installed. My past experience with cameras have been mostly with wireless Foscam. I had set them up at my previous home / barn and they worked ok, but being wireless there were always issues popping up.. We moved last year and I wanted a more reliable wired system and looked to...

IPCT 2 MP Starlight IR Fixed Turret Network Camera, 2.8mm, Powered by Night Eye

I also ordered one. I have bought several Dahua cameras over the past year and settled on the Dahua HDW5321 being the best out the bunch (also the most expensive). When I saw this IPCT-HDW5231RE-I and read where it compared to the Dahua model, I ordered one. If it does meet my needs I plan to...

    Verizon Jetpack Connection

Thanks for all the feedback. I like the idea of the cradlepoint and the hamachi / ngrok. Does the hamachi ngrok offer a way to view it on your mobile device or is it PC only?

    Verizon Jetpack Connection

I have moved to a rural area where only Satellite or Verizon MiFi is an option for internet service. I have 6 Dahua cameras setup in our barn and need access to them remotely. They work great on my LAN. A little research shows satellite service is not an option for port forwarding so... I have a...

    Network cable termination

I'm new to making my on cables, tried a several different standard connectors and never was happy with any of them in the end. I was using a good quality Klein crimper too. I finally tried these PASS THRU CONNECTOR with this Klein Tools VDV226-110 CRIMPER and feel much better about my connections.
