[Solved] Access IP camera connected (PoE) to NVR

Delete your "c:\Program Files(x86)\Web Components" folder. Close all browsers. Launch IE, connect to your NVR, and let it download the plugin. Close IE, install the plugin. Launch IE and connect to your device. If you still do not have virtual host, I'm out of ideas.

[Solved] Access IP camera connected (PoE) to NVR

I have a DS-7616NI-Q2/16P ready to configure, I will try to check it out and report back if I remember. I would be very surprised if there is no "virtual host" option, I have used it for years on all the POE NVRs I set up.

What is the relationship between EZViz and HikConnect?

From what I know; the Hikvision P2P network is the same. All devices connect to the same P2P network, but the accounts are not shared any more. You can have a device connected to the P2P network, and create either a P2P account on EZVIZ or Hik-connect, and add the device to the login you want...

Heads up on the latest Hikvision IP Camera Kits

He is putting screenshots of the old model vs the new model, which does not have the "trigger recording" part. So maybe the linkage on "motion detecion" for "FTP/memory card/NAS" does nothing.

Heads up on the latest Hikvision IP Camera Kits

Whatever, it makes the camera record videos on the SD card, but it's not for video.

Heads up on the latest Hikvision IP Camera Kits

It's for linking when there is a motion detection event. So it is for recording video to the SD card when the motion detection activates (which it will not, until you activate it and configure it). As @alastairstevenson , clear your browser cache.

Heads up on the latest Hikvision IP Camera Kits

Check your own screenshots. Event -> Basic Event -> Motion detection -> Linkage method "Upload to FTP/memory card/NAS" -> enable motion detection, and check this option That's what you are looking for. If you do not see the playback button on the web browser or are missing other options...

DS-KB8112-IM - Sharing on Hik-connect does not notify shared users on ring

I am still running V1.4.5 build 190219, I haven't tried any newer firmware. Maybe I will give it a try at the v1.4.6 that you are linking on the other thread. After updating, delete the webcomponents plugin on your computer, so when you connect to the unit it will download and install the right...

    Hikvision DOME wall-mount

You need to access your cameras OSD menus on their web interface to use the mirror/rotation. But it is just easier to adjust the lens/sensor on the camera the right way.

Hikvision Mini-Dome Conduit Base -- Make Your Own

Never heard of CBD-MINI, I guess that is a US only reference? I only know the worldwide referencies, not the rebranded ones. Any Hikvision IPC always has a full datasheet that includes the accessories that work with that exact model. Sometimes the easier way to find it is just to google it...

Hikvision DVR / IR light issue

Oh, whatever... So you are still checking your DVR menus which have nothing to do with your camera's config. I even showed you a guide on how to do it. Those are analog HDTVI cameras. You do not need to know any IPs, just use the PTZ menus on your DVR. I never said anything about camera's "web...

Hikvision DVR / IR light issue

The key is being able to enter the OSD Menus on the camera. If you do, I am sure there will be some kind of day/night configuration that will allow you to force the camera to work with no IR.

Hikvision DVR / IR light issue

This is from the old Hikvision interface, but it might help: https://www.securame.com/blog/hdtvi-como-usar-el-osd-en-las-camaras-que-lo-soporten/ You need to call the PTZ menus. Like if you had a PTZ camera, which you don't, but if your camera has OSD menus that will allow you to force them to...

Hikvision DVR / IR light issue

You are looking in the wrong place. You have to check using the camera's OSD menu, if the camera allows to turn off the IR, it needs to be done on the camera. It has nothing to do with the DVR.

Which camera's for old Hikvision NVR from 2014?

It should. Years ago there were problems with some NVR firmwares that supported (like yours) 3MP and 5MP but did NOT support 4MP, were you had to turn down the resolution on 4MP cameras to 3MP. It might or might not be your case (later firmwares fixed that).

Adding Camera stream from 1 NVR to Another

I know you can add them using RTSP, that way you are connecting as a client. But you will not have motion detection, events, etc., just a video feed. If that is enough for you only for live viewing, go ahead! If you are going to run 40 NVRs (I guess many of them acting just as decoders) and god...

Adding Camera stream from 1 NVR to Another

You can't add a channel from a Hikvision NVR on another Hikvision NVR. Maybe you can find a camera model that allows more connections, or use a stream server that will broadcast as many times as you need that camera's stream.

Which camera's for old Hikvision NVR from 2014?

Any Hikvision camera will work. You just have to keep in mind the max resolution your NVR supports (5MP), and that you might have to switch the encoding on the new camera from H265 to H264.

Adding Camera stream from 1 NVR to Another

You need to add it using the IP/name/password of the camera, not the ones for the NVR. You have to connect the second NVR direct to the camera.

socat lets me connect from off-site directly to stream rtsp PLUS defeat 5 min limit

You can remove all the components from that equation, and just use the camera. You can open the web/RTSP ports on your router to one of those cameras, connect from the outside world to your public IP (using web interface or RTSP, whatever), and you will see there is no time limitation either...
