Actually, here you can already find a new firmware for this camera, which seems helping with the SmartIR.
Andy, I'm not comparing the 4.0-AI VS eg. the 5231R-ZE, I mean that the SmartIR, even on the ultra series, such as the HFW8232E-ZE, or the...
@aristobrat Yes, you can initialize and modify the default ip address, even if the network address is different (as long as the camera and the pc...
Thanks Andy, as soon as is available the logo one ... :)
Completely agree, the dahua SmartIR, is far enough form being smart, if compared for eg, to the cheaper hikvision cameras.
Did you allow, the less secure apps, for that gmail account ? Just tried a couple of tcpdupms, and reading the output with wireshark, seems that...
Can you try this firmware and test again ?
Which firmware is running on the device ?
But a thing isn't still so clear to me, when you were connected to the openvpn server via the mobile connection, the throughput was crap, while...
Are you able to test with a tool like iperf, between your phone, connected to the Openvpn server, and a device in the same network as the NVR ?...
I have had the same issue on one NVR5208-8P-4KS2, upgraded the firmware (from the 05-18 to the 02-19), and the email are working again, with the...
@Dabba dabba dabid
As per my brief test, that camera outperforms the 5231R-Z/ZE, and seems close, if not even better, than the 8232E-Z/ZE.
Also fine on IPC-HFW81230E-Z
I often use Edgerouters, and the router can act a NTP server, the same should be for the USG, simply declare the ip address of the vif as NTP...
Under playback, select the camera, then, lower left corner, 'Time' field, click on the calendar grid.
Yes, at least, I've appliet on this model (IPC-HDW5831R-ZE), and it is working as expected.

Should be anyway ok, check when rainy
IVS settings seems still broken
A bit close to the wall is sure better, but even so, should be ok :)
More or less, I'd say no, the only issue is when and if the camera is directly exposed to the rain, and the IR is on ... But this, of course, is a...
Anybody has already tried this version of SmartPSS ?
Yes, the switches are pretty hot, and this should help, but humidity is a bad beast (here, eg. the fiber come into the box through a...
Not tested in deep yet, but, so far, no issues.
Welcome back, Andy !
Yes, seems ok ... (testing on NVR5208-8P-4KS2)
If you use the Smart PSS, in the upper left corner, the used bandwidth seems consistent, on each camera, or do you see spikes ? The issues are on...
Can you try with SmartPSS ? Or, try by clearing the browser's cache.
You may try the previous one
