    TOP-201 camera

Got it working. So in my case the combination that work was to choose TOP-201 from the drop-down menu and then manually changed media port to 34567. Originally when I tried either ONVIF or TOP-201 from drop down and then find/inspect it was sticking port 554 or 8899 into "media port" box. Case...

It's a small-sized deployment(mixed) Currently running NUUO PC-based server that I am planning to upgrade to BI. So I can connect to ttcamera I'll share what I have in 30-40 min when I get back home.

    TOP-201 camera

TOP-201 camera model HI3518E_50H10L_S39 recognized by BI v.5 but no stream. Attached image shows that BI doesn't see profile and video source(I guess). RTSP service is enabled on the camera. Did anyone has experience with this ones? NUUO has no problem streaming video from the same camera...

    94 Camera Blue Iris install

Fenderman I am not arguing with you since you are obviously way more knowledgeable in BI then I am. And I am not installing the system yet. At the moment client has a mixed system of analog and IP devices. IP Cameras running on NUUO VMS which is running flawlessly with the support of POS...

    94 Camera Blue Iris install

Thanks for sharing! I was thinking about deploying BI solution in the scenario where the client will have over 120 IP cams(mostly 2MP and some 4MP) and for the same reason - IP cam license. Have you tried to integrate any POS devices with BI by any chance?

Analog cam to be connected in NVR

Got it working. My mistake was : camera number in BI settings must be "3" since the count in BI starts at "0". In the encoder RTSP stream is also "3" look at the attached images.

Analog cam to be connected in NVR

And you are absolutely right here. But as an integrator who came across new platform I want to know its limitations and capabilities. So far I think BI is very capable platform and may be easily deployed in a lot of scenarios even with those that exceed 100 cameras count if hardware is properly...

Analog cam to be connected in NVR

fenderman, I am on the same page with you! I haven't used analog cameras for more then 12 years now. My installs are always been IP-based. But, there are still many sites where analog cameras are used and I'm talking sites with over 100 cams. Those are not as easy to convert to IP at once(budget...

Analog cam to be connected in NVR

Hello, this is my case: I have AVIGILON ENC-4P-H264 encoder and can't get it to work with BI. I tried adding it as a "AVIGILON"(which BI recognizes) and "ONVIF" neither one works, wondering if any additional setup required? I tried changing H264 or JPEG at the encoder end - no luck. Encoder...

BI - Blue Iris Digital IO and IoT

Yes , that is exactly what I want to clarify with BI. Something like that(see pdf).

BI - Blue Iris Digital IO and IoT

Thanks for the info opus too! I am interested in connecting serial adapter to my alarm panel and see if BI accepts it.

BI - Blue Iris Digital IO and IoT

Question number two: does BI integrate with external input/output devices such as MOXA for example?

BI - Blue Iris Digital IO and IoT

HI davej, do you know if BI can read inputs from IP cam? For instance: IP cam has an input alarm in a form of a simple switch configured as - N.O., so when switch is closed the input alarm is triggered on the IP cam. Question is, will BI read this trigger from IP cam?

    POS integration and BI

Hi All! I am new to the community and might be asking a repeated question but I couldn't find much in forum's search. Q: Does BI VMS support POS integration? Thank you.
