Http post to change to ptz preset?

Just in case someone else stumbled across this in search again....... The Reolink E1 Zoom has the rtsp feed and onvif compatibility. Just not on by default. You need to turn the "server" on through its Web page by going to its IP address in a browser, then finding network, advanced, and turn...

Http post to change to ptz preset?

Just a cheap(ish) cam that I believe is not seen favourable by some on here... Reolink E1 Zoom. Its worked well re keeping stable even over wifi, and I find the night vision good enough for me for my application of looking over my dog food Feeder (thus the ptz command from my home automation...

    Problem with SSA cutting out

Yep the AI-SSA is what I refer to as them trying to make the cameras like Reolink LOL. It will drop the FPS way down, slow down shutter, etc. And it wreaks havoc with BI, just like reolinks LOL.

Not sure about Blue Iris, but you can via Home Assistant and could use that to trigger Blue Iris if you can't do it directly. https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/reolink

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Yup. I installed an Arlo WiFi doorbell for my parents, and it was terrible, despite the WAP being less than 20' away through a wooden door and drywall. So I replaced it with a Netgear WiFi doorbell, and it sucks just as badly. My parents hear "Connected to network" 20x a day. If the doorbell...

Reolink cameras are garbage and their reddit moderators are unprofessional trunk slammers

In general the Reolink Doorbell gets good reviews from members here compared to the alternatives .. unfortunately, this probably says a lot more about the options available .. For me, I have yet to find a Doorbell I really like ..

Hi I can't comment on redit but I have the POE doorbell Cam as a move from Ring. The app on that has no adds at all. It's not all that I had hoped it would be but it's already had an update that fixed some of the issues and it's definitely an upgrade from Ring. It can be set not to go into...

    Hello! Finally registered :)

...Planned a network, have about 10 wired cams running now. Got my old pc (i7 4770k, 8gb and a gtx1060, 8TB wd purple) to run BI. I have 3 reolink camera's (i know i know) Got them working right in the sense that i have a stable stream, but that means i can't use a substream or the full 4k...

Really hope that Dahua makes this Doorbell a reality someday with a better camera sensor

The secondary camera which points downward - the Reolink is missing this feature; I prefer redundancy, I already have dedicated cameras pointing to the ground for packages Also, the Ubiquiti doorbell has the Ethernet port oriented the correct way - straight outward; whereas in Reolink its a...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I'm debating between 10 degrees and 15 degrees, will it make much of a difference? The way I have this mounted presently for the front door - there is a very tight tolerance, lol

Camera similar to RLC-510 that lets you adjust close focusing?

I saw an earlier post on Reddit, where somebody was able to modify a Reolink RLC-510 to do extremely close focusing (20-30cm): https://imgur.com/gallery/0svoBHv This was from 3 years ago. Does anybody know of any current/modern IP POE cameras that might be suitable for such an adjustment...

Great to have you here .. Note, I would probably keep the cloud camera stuff as an augmentation to a core IP PoE system ..

The first order of business is a good wired and monitored alarm system for your home. Surveillance is sorta like the police, they are for after the fact.

My second Reolink doorbell is going here, replacing this peephole: This will prevent me having to drill through a really heavy steel door frame.

Thanks! My office is two floors, and I confirmed this morning that I can definitely not hear the chime downstairs when I'm upstairs. But the guys downstairs heard it. All 10 times.:rofl::rofl: I'm also buying another doorbell for the side door, so I bought 2 of those Kerui 521 sets. The...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Here's this morning's "normal" capture, e.g. he's not deliberately staring into the camera. Face is definitely recognizable, but the IQ is not great. Lots of noise and compression crush, despite 4096 kbps main stream.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

FYI, If Reolink is mounted below face level (very common for doorbell mount), tilting the camera downward will reduce your chances of catching a person's face, as a person walks up to camera. i.e. When person is close enough, their face will not be in camera view. For this reason, I...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Just noticed this downward mount. It may or may not work for the ReoLink doorbell. Or one could be made out of wood using the same idea. It would be nice if the ReoLink doorbell camera lens could be tilted in any direction up to 25 degrees. That would help eliminate some of the sky...

And now I have it installed. I had to drill through two pieces of aluminum before I could get to the rear channel where I could push a fiberglass rod and chain through from the space above the drop ceiling, then pull it out with a magnet: But it's in, along with two IP5M-T1277EW-AI turrets:

That's swapping from a cheap piece of junk system to an overly expensive piece of junk proprietary system! :idk: You'll be poorer after buying all the equipment, but still have a pretty bad system.
