    Interesting, I just so happened to look at my drive chart and noticed The F: DRIVE was not using all of the allocated space. They usually are both the same as they are identical drives both set for 3550GB. So at first I thought maybe I have a issue with that drive and ran a check for errors...

    Ok, all is good now. Before I restarted the pc, I added my station ID back in and this time the CPU was normal ?? But I did a restart and it works ok. Thanks Mike for your hard work ! CPU usage runs around 1.7% now :)

    For some reason BIT 1.6 is really using a lot of CPU...it has held there for 10 minutes. I did just use the upgrade option in BIT 1.5 to update.

    Not really, the main thing is you DO NOT want to run BI4 at anytime after you are running BI5 as they share the same registry location and it MAY screw up something.

    FYI I am using these settings on my SD49225T and my mouse arrows work as well as everything else. I don't think mine is sloppy, but that's hard to say :) Running BI 5.0.6.11 You might have to adjust the speed to your taste.

    Ever since 5.0.6.0 and newer I have lost my mouse PTZ functions on my SD49225T-HN . I have sent support a note on this. 5.0.5.8 works fine.

    I have ran into a stubborn cam now and then, and by hooking the cam directly to laptop or pc and then rebooting the laptop. Then use IE and try the 192.168.1.108 if no luck then, you may have a issue.

    Thats ok, I have unlimited bandwidth from the eyes to brain :) Glad it all went smooth. You will find there are a lot of different things in BI5 and the help file does a great job explaining them.

    I would try updating both machines to current version...lot of changes since 5.0.0.48, also make sure both machines run BI as service.

    And once he did a repair/regenerate with the new drive location the clip.dat file went kerplunk. Time to save what clips you want and start over fresh.

    Try Macrium Reflect free version, it works great. There are no hidden files in BI4 or BI5 clips.
