OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

Thanks for providing an update. I just noticed that the previous solution wasn't working. That's too bad it's no longer free, but it's nice to have an option.

OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

One more question, if I click on the Load button for "Load Forensic for Historic Plates" under Settings. Will it go through all the plates in the DB and update the plates? I clicked load but nothing seems to happen.

OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

Fixed it, I took a calculated risk, deleted the table, and re-ran the original script to rebuild that table. The app now loads, the original error came from running the update scripts from the "Update Instructions". Notice how I asked for help but got impatient and preceded... Anyhow, thanks for...

OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

OK, I am close but now when I open the Viewer I get Procedure or function SP_LPR_GetDBStats has too many arguments specified. I am assuming I need to fix something in SQL Studio?

Is anyone else experiencing the daily plate forensics always erroring on new cars all of the sudden? I send myself daily emails with all new cars the Neighborhood LPR software finds at the top. For the past week or more all new cars have errored and found no VINs at all. Is seems to have...

Blue Iris Ip Configuration Streaming Profiles question

Is the general consensus now to use substreams? I remember when it was first released it was advised to wait until it had been tested more. Then I fell off the map for a awhile.

Yeah, the desktop application has always had the plate numbers. With this release the mobile app got the number as well. Screenshot attached.

If you use Plate Recognizer and have the Blue Iris mobile app, the license plate numbers now show up next to your alerts. Now if only they were searchable!

I painted the enclosure to match the siding. I would highly recommend doing this as the camera blends in really well from a distance, but once someone gets to the porch they notice it and try to figure out what it is. Which means I get great snapshots of faces! I am working on the night time...

I checked out the solar posts and wow that's impressive! They are defiantly not discrete though.

    Solar Powered IR Illuminator

Yeah, doable vs realistic. In my mind the idea was this small IR light with a small solar panel that would attach to the mailbox. In reality it sounds like it would be much bigger. Also, I conveniently overlooked some sort of battery to store the power. Honestly, it would look nicer to just...

FWIW, I replaced my WiFi doorbell camera with the IPC-E3541F-AS-M. As anyone would expect, comparing a WiFi camera to a wired camera leaves no comparison. Wired wins big time every time. I am really happy with the day and night time video. At night I leave it on forced color.

I am considering adding a small IR Illuminator at my mailbox to help add some additional light. Has anyone run into a way to power them from a solar battery?

Camera Status Red Text (No Signal) When Hardware Accelerated Decode is On But Only At Night

I just bought a new LPR camera (IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E), which I got installed a few days ago. All my cameras are set to are set to "Intel" for Hardware accelerated decode. With the Z12E, during the day it acts fine with these settings. At night, I noticed that there is a yellow icon at the top...

Will Lowering a 4K Camera to 2MP Help Night Time Videos?

I am planning on moving it to another location with a much better light source hopefully this week. It currently is in a good spot for my new LPR camera I pick up from Andy during his Black Friday Sale :)

Will Lowering a 4K Camera to 2MP Help Night Time Videos?

I have a 4K camera that I use for an overview of my yard. As the Cliff Notes clearly spell out multiple times, the night time video is very poor when compared to my Dahua 2 MP Starlight cameras. The specifications say this 4K camera has a 1/2.3″ sensor. That left me wondering if lowering the...

    Morning Neighborhood Car Thieves

Thanks for your input, it is appreciated. The shutter speed is currently 1/30. Are you thinking 1/60 or 1/120 would have been better? Is B&W better than Color for night? I agree with it mounted too high, I think it's currently at 8-8.5 feet. Originally, I was using this camera to capture footage...
