New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I don’t know about fw 191211, but my EZVIZ-DB1 came with 190304. I upgraded to 200904 three days ago without any issues. I also upgraded my 16v-10w transformer to 16v-30w before my install. So far, so good.

Considering Cisco SF250-48HP PoE switch. Bad choice?

Advanced networking is way over my head too! I just perform a simple default reset and just plug everything in. The reset procedure is explained in the HP installation documents you can download.

Considering Cisco SF250-48HP PoE switch. Bad choice?

I don’t mean to complicate your decision, but I’ve had good luck with HP ProCurve PoE switches. They aren’t silent, but not too loud as I have mine located in the garage. You can generally find many eBay ProCurve switches for very reasonable cost. You can download HP data and installation...

Need help picking out Equipment for remote Location- Needs to boot back up easily

If you are on good terms with your neighbor, maybe the neighbor could reset power to your router by turning your main electrical power switch off and then back on. Of course, I'm assuming the main electrical panel is accessible outside.

How many of you have cameras inside for intruder detection?

I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying where I live a non-emergency call does not get you an immediate response. It boils down to a judgement call depending on what the person, or potential intruder, is doing at the time.

How many of you have cameras inside for intruder detection?

I do call our local LE non-emergency number when we notice anybody suspicious around. They usually respond in less than 20 minutes, but not crazy fast;)

How many of you have cameras inside for intruder detection?

I'll join this discussion:) I installed a Hikvision cube right next to my front door looking into my foyer and stairs up. This is the only inside cam I intend to install. I do block all my cams internet access. I don't trust video analytics yet to reliably alert me that a break in has occurred...

    Buying From AliExpress

+1 @Mike K I made my first cc purchases with AliExpress about two years ago with no issues. Then in the last year or so AliExpress would reject all my cc's. I would communicate with some person via their "chat" about this, all to no avail. Of course, I choose to not submit their requested...
