Thanks for reply, @tibimakai . Just this morning, I got the IT tech from my Internet provider to edit the new router and now my 2 Dahua cameras are both back to having no problems. He changed some items in their router and I did not get to see what changes however. As far as I'm concerned...

How do I switch from one modem mfg to another using BlueIris

I'm sorry guys, but there is too much information that's left out on these different locations for me to enter in the info not only where but also the exact info. Examples are subnet mask. default gateway......also, when I connect one of these cameras directly into my computers' Ethernet port...

How do I switch from one modem mfg to another using BlueIris

@SpacemanSpiff , could you tell me how to change to a static address or give me enough info to accomplish that feat?. And you listed the exact problem that I've been having with the 2. I kept having to disable 1 to see the other and then when both were enabled, 1 would make the other lose the...

How do I switch from one modem mfg to another using BlueIris

@DG99 , thanks for the reply. A little more info. The new modem sees the cameras and has the addresses of 192.168.1.108 for both. But I can't see either using a browser. I'm trying to use BlueIris and thought maybe that is where some IP or other change has to be made but BI won't let me make...

How do I switch from one modem mfg to another using BlueIris

Had to switch from Netgear to Actiontec modems and now BlueIris is not seeing cameras. And in the Local internal LAN access window, it won't let me make any changes.....if that is one of the things that I need to do. Is this what I have to do to be up and running or is there more that I have...

Need power supply for Loryta SD49425XB-HNR camera

Thanks, @EMPIRETECANDY. I did order one and installed a few days after receiving. A ZOSI DC 12V 3A power supply. It appears too small to output 3 amps but so far is working.

Need power supply for Loryta SD49425XB-HNR camera

Thanks @TVille, I won't be using POE but will go with a ps instead. And I really thought that a ps would come with the cam but they are cheap vs the cam.

Need power supply for Loryta SD49425XB-HNR camera

Thanks @SouthernYankee , I was looking at some with specs like 12v 3 amp and have emailed Andy with the question but am aware that we are day vs night in time zones. My old Dahua has a AC 24 volt 3 amp powering it and was not just going to power the new cam with that and watching the smoke...

Need power supply for Loryta SD49425XB-HNR camera

I just received the SD49425XB-HNR from Andy and did not receive a power supply. I think that Andy misunderstood that I was going to move my current Dahua cam to another location and install this camera where the Dahua was. Would someone that has this camera recommend the correct power supply...

For those that have used this feature, it's back in Ver 5 Blue Iris! As of 6-11-20 with version update 64_5.2.9.16 that Ken posted. Works as before but with an added window with choices of 'No PTZ cursor', 'PTZ + digital zoom', and 'PTZ unless zoomed' listed in the 'PTZ/Control Tab. This...

Unable to contact BlueIris Support (Solution was USE GMAIL) & Works!

@fenderman , It's not that I need immediate help, a reply from support that they have received my gmail and that they will look into solving the problem would shut me up while I wait.

Unable to contact BlueIris Support (Solution was USE GMAIL) & Works!

Actually the only time that the email was received when I used, as you suggested, gmail. Gmail sent this morning at about 10am EST and received back what I posted in the above post. YES, I used the "About" tab in 'Blue Iris Settings' window and clicked on the window at the bottom right that...

Unable to contact BlueIris Support (Solution was USE GMAIL) & Works!

Thanks, @fenderman, seeing your suggestion on another post, I did use gmail and received a response about 1 hour later. But the reply was only telling me how to send a support request....and I quote: "If you are writing concerning an existing installation, please always use "Email support"...

Dahua SD-49225T Cam stopped responding to BIris

You are correct, @TonyR. That's the way it USED TO WORK as I stated using Ver 4, but after upgrading to Ver 5, panning while zoomed does not work. The cursor never changes into a 'hand' therefore, no panning. I've tried 4 versions of Ver 5 and none of them work as Ver 4 did. I've been using...

Dahua SD-49225T Cam stopped responding to BIris

Never did find an answer but upgraded to Ver 5 BlueIris and can now PTZ the camera, however I can no longer pan the view when I use zoom in or out! The cursor used to change to a 'hand' symbol but now stays as (-) or (+) with no panning! Waiting for response from support sent today 5-9-20.

Dahua SD-49225T Cam stopped responding to BIris

My problem started 3 days ago. First, the camera started taking 5-10 seconds before moving after attempting to manually move it with the mouse. Later it sometimes took about 30 seconds and finally no movement. I can open up a browser and move it but not with BlueIris 4. There must be...

Dahua DH-SD59230T-HN Unable to Manually Focus

@JimandYen, if you find out a solution please post back here and I will do the same. When I set mine up, I had to use the 'Find/inspect' and it came up with a 'Generic' setting that I'm using as my first post shows. As you may know, you have to use User: admin and Password: admin to get the...

Dahua DH-SD59230T-HN Unable to Manually Focus

Thanks @JimandYen, but as I stated, all functions including Manual Focus works using Fire Fox Web Browser. If the browser can adjust Manual Focus, then Blue Iris should be able to!!! It's a pain to have to open a web browser just to adjust the focus and as soon as the camera is moved or...

Dahua DH-SD59230T-HN Unable to Manually Focus

Thanks nayr. I would have thought that BI would have the right specific setting for a Dahua camera. When I choose Dahua as the make, I don't even get a video, let alone any controls! The real problem is that the camera Auto focuses fine but it doesn't necessarily focus on what I want it to...

Dahua DH-SD59230T-HN Unable to Manually Focus

Using Blue Iris, I'm unable to manually focus both near and far. All controls work using Fire Fox Browser including Auto focusing and Manually focusing. I have tried a lot of different Makes and models but only the one that "Find/inspect" actually 'finds' can I actually get a video to show...

Can't turn IR on/off nor move cam with PTZ diagonal arrows with BI

On my Sricam that still works after over a year, BI does turn the IR on/off with the IR Lights >> light bulb symbol at the bottom right under the speaker symbol slider. My camera is used mostly for watching hummingbirds and chipmunks that I feed and sometimes for security. Here's a night shot...
