    Intel i7-4770K + Asus Gryphon Z87 + 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro

Upgraded my computer so I'm selling this old setup. This is a great set-up for running Blue Iris and because the motherboard is micro-atx, it is a small form factor good for small enclosure. Intel i7-4770K stock CPU/heatsink (never overclocked) Asus Gryphon Z87 motherboard 32GB (4x8GB)...

Has anyone figured out yet how to RTSP stream channel 0 "multi stream"?

Has anyone figured out yet how to RTSP stream channel 0 "multi stream"? Channel-0 displays can display all 16-channels simultaneously in a single stream on a single channel and this results in smooth playback and low bandwidth. I have confirmed on SmartPSS that this functionality DOES work...

What happened to Live Cams Pro on iOS?

Wow, thanks for the response Barry. Hands down this app was amazing, probably the best camera app on the iOS. It was incredibly stable, fluid, and worked.

    Any 5V outdoor camera?

Are there any 5V outdoor camera? I know the indoor ones (Dahua/Amcrest) uses 5V and that is nice since it is low power and picture quality is great. But I haven't found any 5V versions for Dahua for outdoor in a metal housing. Curious why that is.

Can a 5241E-Z12E be powered by solar panel and SLA battery setup?

The 5241E-Z12E power consumption would be as follows: DC12v 2.5w @ no IR = 0.208A DC12v 9.4w @ with IR = 0.78A With a 12V SLA battery pack, let's say there are 19 hours in a day with no sunlight, then 19 hours x 0.78A = 14.82Ah of consumption per day for this camera. So sounds like I need a...

Can a 5241E-Z12E be powered by solar panel and SLA battery setup?

Basically, you can think of my project kind of like the Flock camera system. I'd like to build something similar where it is standalone.

Can a 5241E-Z12E be powered by solar panel and SLA battery setup?

I have some trick up my sleeves... involving periodic wireless upload with a low power raspberry pi. Remember, I only need pictures.... not a stream.

Can a 5241E-Z12E be powered by solar panel and SLA battery setup?

Was wondering if a 75-watt solar panel plus a deep cycle 12V battery 40Ah would be enough to power a 5241E-12E for long? I want to mount a camera near the street to capture plates, no continuous motion recording so power consumption should be at super minimum. It wouldjust capture snapshots.

    Big update!! NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000000.0.R.20190713

Just curious if the clicking issue has been solved with the firmware update?

Why I like Continuous Recording (aka 24/7)

I have redundancy now. 24/7 recording on a Dahua 5432 NVR plus a separate Intel NUC i7 with Blue Iris and a 128GB SSD running triggers. Well, the Blue Iris is losing because the latest versions 5.3.x.x is not really stable. But I managed to find a way to mitigate the crashes for now. best of...

    Stupid problem with gDMSS lite

Are you using DHCP with the NVR? Is the router on the same subnet as the NVR? That's probably why.

    Blue Iris 5.3.1.6 crash Win10x64 EventID:1000, Application Error 0xc0000374

Okay just downgraded to 5.3.0.3 and something got royally F'd up when I did so. CPU is now at 100%, memory shot up to 8%. I didn't change a single damn setting anywhere. All cameras the same. So WTF happened........ edit: figured it out. Status shows that BI is no longer pulling the...

Was there ever a stable version that you guys remember? I just started the BI5 band wagon so 5.3.1.6 is the first version I'm using. I'm wondering if an earlier version like 5.2.x.x will be better.

How to keep same aspect ratio for all camera live views?

So I tried that, force anamorphic size. Then I set it to 640x480 (for example) when it is in sub stream. I see it trying to resize to 640x480 with the vertical rainbow tv colors. Then 5 seconds later, it switches back to its preferred setting. Oh, well, I guess I will live with it.

How to keep same aspect ratio for all camera live views?

I have tried to force the resolution in the camera video settings. It tries to resize it, but then after 5 seconds, it jumps back to its default size. I think it is trying to size it accordingly to fit in the full-screen view.

How to keep same aspect ratio for all camera live views?

So I have 16 cams in the live view full-screen in BI5 and because the cameras are all different, their substream resolutions are slightly different too. This causes black borders to appear as I think BI5 is trying to maintain the cameras aspect ratio. Well, how can I force it so that they are...

Intel NUC10 i7 is fairly solid

I'm using Smart PSS. Trust me, I have tried it all except Blue Iris. I have tried the following: 1) iPad + Live Cam Pro (very stable, but iPad battery blows up after 1.5 yrs being plugged in 100% state-of-charge. LCP app is now dead, an otherwise superb app. 2) Samsung tablet + TinyCam Pro...

Intel NUC10 i7 is fairly solid

Just wanted to let people know that I recently got a Chromebox3 and tried to run Tiny Cam Pro app with 15 cameras. It struggled real bad to keep up with the frame rates, even in substream mode. So then I returned that and picked up a more powerful 10th-generation i7-10710U Intel NUC10 kit. I...

Touch screen monitor support with Dahua NVR?

Does anyone or have anyone tried running a touch screen monitor with Dahua NVR via USB connection? There are monitors that are plug-n-play with PCAP/HID support and was wondering if Dahua's NVR would support it. Obviously, I think Dahua would just see it as a regular mouse and a cursor might...

    New iDMSS Version 4.90.000

The DMSS app seems way better than the iDMSS app. They got the playback feature down correctly now and it is much easier to use than before. The "out of memory" problem is still there occasionally if you scroll to fast or play too much. The preview thumbnails of each camera is a sweet feature.

    Big update!! NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000000.0.R.20190713

The three iDMSS notification problem that people are describing is most certainly not an apple problem. I have confirmed through tcpdump packet capturing that the NVR is indeed sending out 2-3 push notifications to apple's push server 17.x.x.x and then we get three ack response back. It's a...

How much power does an NVR use?

NVR4216 is less than 9.5watts without on-board POE. With onboard POE, it is less than 15.2watts. This is just the NVR itself, not including the HDD. Compared to a PC, I can honestly tell you 100%, a Dahua NVR consumes significantly less power than a regular PC running BI 24/7.
